General Terms and Conditions for Inbound and Outbound Cargo:
Rates are subject to change in case of any variation in weight, volume, or dimensions of the cargo.
Any transit delays by carriers are beyond our control.
Ex-works charges are subject to change if there is any change in address or cargo specifications.
Space confirmation is based on the booking request and subsequent confirmation by the carriers.
Rates are subject to equipment and space availability at the time of shipment.
Any storage charges applicable at origin, transit, or destination will be billed at actuals.
Any incidental charges applicable will be billed at actuals.
Rates exclude insurance unless specified otherwise.
Surcharges are subject to change without prior notice by the carriers.
To avoid cargo getting wet or damaged, it is mandatory for all shipments to be covered with shrink wrap or good-quality plastic material. Carriers and terminal operators do not accept shipments without shrink wrap or plastic covering and will not entertain any claims if cargo is damaged due to rain. If you are unable to shrink-wrap the cargo for any reason, an indemnity letter confirming non-filing of claims must be provided. (You may check with our teams for assistance with shrink wrapping. The monsoon season in India is typically between June and October.)
Specific Terms and Conditions for Air Freight – Outbound from India:
Rates are valid for 3 calendar days from the date of quotation.
No-show charges and penalties (equivalent to 100% of freight charges) will be applied by the airlines if confirmed shipments are cancelled or rebooked within 48 hours of flight departure (ETD – first leg).
Specific Terms and Conditions for Ocean Freight – Outbound from India:
Rates are subject to local charges at both origin and destination.
Quotations are applicable only for standard free time at both ends.
Booking cancellation and no-show charges imposed by the carrier will attract penalties and will be billed at actuals.
MB/L surrender charges of USD 65/- will be applicable if the carrier does not release a Seaway B/L.
Specific Terms and Conditions for Air and Ocean Freight – Inbound into India:
Quotations do not include any commodity inspection or customs examination fees.
Quotations are offered on the assumption that shippers and consignees hold valid export/import licenses and can provide all relevant documents required for customs clearance.
